Businesses and individuals engaged in commercial activities who wish to export products from Greenland for commercial purposes must obtain an export permit from the Ministry of Business, Mineral Resources, Energy, Justice, and Gender Equality.
Applications for export permits must be submitted by completing an application form, which can be found on this page.
An export permit serves as proof that a company is legally allowed to export goods from Greenland for commercial purposes. The permit is not country-specific, and it is therefore the responsibility of the exporting company to ensure compliance with the import regulations of the destination country. The fact that a product may be exported from Greenland does not automatically mean it can be imported into the recipient country.
