As part of the licence for the utilisation of genetic resources in Greenland, reporting is required.
The reporting consists of an annual report, which must include the following details:
The utilisation activities carried out during the validity period of the licence.
The results of the utilisation activities, including research and development conducted during the licence period.
Any components of the genetic resources that may have been, or may be, utilised for commercial purposes.
Any changes to the plans for the utilisation of the genetic resources.
Publications or presentations related to the genetic resources, either by or on behalf of the licence holder.
The report must be submitted by sending a completed reporting form by email to isiin@nanoq.gl.

Publication
If results from the study or research of genetic resources from Greenland, or based on such resources, are published or otherwise made publicly available, it is a requirement that Naalakkersuisut be notified of the publication or disclosure after it has occurred.
Licence holders are required to notify the Ministry of Business and Mineral Resources of any publications or other public disclosures of results derived from Greenlandic genetic resources immediately following publication or disclosure.
Notification of a publication must be submitted by sending the completed publication reporting form by email to isiin@nanoq.gl.
